Name: Isha Wickliff Nickname: nope, Isha will do just fine. Gender: girl Age: fifteen years old. Birthdate: December 5th, 1993 Ethnicity: Anglo-Saxon, Australian Appearance: Isha is average in height, for her age...about 5'4''. She has a slender build, and is not cut out for hard work such as lifting heavy objects around. She has a golden brown tan, and dark brown, nearly black straight hair that reaches her shoulders in length. She has a kind face, with a small friendly smile. When she is really sad, her facial expression can make almost anyone try to see if she's alright. Her eyes glaze over, and her mouth turns to a small frown, sometimes with a tear running down her cheek. She doesn't make noise when she is sad, and actually becomes very quiet, not wanting to talk to anyone. Her eyes are greenish blue. Her fingers are quite long, disproportionate to the rest of her hand. Isha wears a navy blue t-shirt with a pair of grey/blue capris. On the airplane, she was wearing a pair of flip-flops, but they got lost as the plane crashed, so she is forced to go around, barefoot.
Personality: Isha loves to be around other people. If she isn't around other people, she just doesn't seem to be able to think straight. Even if she was in danger with other people, she would rather be with them, then not be in danger and be alone. Despite needing company all of the time, Isha is not a very talkative person. She likes to talk, but does not hog conversations, and is not the type of person to over-talk. If you want quiet, she is fine with that. Isha likes to cheer people up. Even in times of hardship, she will be there giving words of encouragement, not showing everyone the fear that she has, herself, buried deep down inside. One word to describe Isha would be, "loyal". She loves writing, and likes to record everything that happens to her. If you get really mad at Isha, she wont get mad back...instead, she'll quietly walk away, probably crying.
History: Isha was born in Australia, the land down under. She lived there for eleven years, with her Australian Mother, and American Father. When her Mother passed away, dying of cancer, her Father decided that Australia was just not the same -- it didn't have the same magic as it did before, and although Isha protested as much as she could, he bought one way tickets to America. Isha was heart broken. First off, her Mother dies, then her Father decides that now she has to live in this new country, away from her friends and relatives. When they finally made it to America, Isha was shocked to find out that they had moved from a nice cozy house in a quiet town, to a one bedroom apartment in a massive city. Isha got the bedroom, while her Father got the couch. Even with all of her things decorated around the room, Isha still didn't feel as if it was truly home. Isha attended a school, and mainly kept to herself -- most kids were a bit weirded out by her Australian accent, and she didn't want to stand out even more than she was already.
Four years later, Isha's Father, knowing that Isha still, after all this time was still quite friendless. Yeah sure, she had gone over to some girls houses sometimes, for sleepover parties etc, but she was still alone. She wasn't like all of these vain teenagers that seemed to populate the whole city. She just wasn't like them. When her Father saw that she was spending her summer holidays sitting around the house, or going for solitary walks, her Father researched, and found a summer camp. Wanting to give Isha as much as he could, he signed her up for an expensive one...one that would even take an airplane to get to! Isha wasn't quite as thrilled as her Father about the whole idea, but decided that she could get to know some other kids at a summer camp, away from all of the bustling life of the city.
Saying a good-bye to her Father, perhaps the last thing that she will have said to him, she boarded the plane, not knowing that by doing so, her life was going to change forever.
Items: A pencil, and a thick, empty journal.
